Photo guidelines

Pet image guidelines for portraits are crucial to the quality of your final pet portrait, and the most important part of your order is the quality of the image you upload. Let's review the following tips and guidelines to make sure your image is correct:

  • Take a photo or choose an existing photo that was taken during the day or in a brightly lit room.
  • Use a smartphone or high-quality camera.
  • Ensure that the entire face and neck visible and not in shadow.
  • Avoid overly filtered photos so that we can properly capture your pet's colors.
  • Make sure your pet is looking directly at the camera at eye level, facing forward. Other positions are acceptable, but your pet will appear in this position in the final portrait.
  • Please note: collars, leashes, bows, hats, and other cute outfits will not be depicted in your final portrait.

Not sure if the photos are appropriate?

Send us your picture to our email address info@cool-box.si and we will let you know. We often create portraits of pets who have already passed away, so we understand that it is not always possible to follow all of the guidelines above.

In many cases, we can still find a solution.
